Detailed Digital Mockup
I have extensive experience with creating digital art, having created digital paintings for over fifteen years, starting when I ran out of space on my walls for new paintings. I've taken this skill and used it to create digital mockups of the rooms I paint.
How does it work? I start with pictures and basic measurements of the room. I use this as a template to create an image for each wall. Once the design is approved and the room is ready to be painted , I use a projector to put the image onto the wall, allowing me to ensure the final painted version is as close to the mockup as possible.
How different does the digital mockup look from the finished product?
There are always going to be differences. Sometimes, as I get to work, changes need to be made to better fit the room. But generally, it's always going to be pretty close, as I use a projector to put the image onto the wall. The colors might be a little different, as it is very difficult to get an exact colorization, but the general idea of the room is there.
